Bakari Sellers: Trump, Pence, GOP ‘Putting Policy over the Moral Fabric of the Country’ with Roy Moore

SELLERS: "Mark just highlighted and I don’t think he realized he highlighted it. Republicans right now, Donald Trump and everyone from top down are putting policy over the moral fabric of the economy. What does the Republican Party stand for? More specifically, what do white evangelicals in the country and throughout the south stand for when you can turn a blind eye to someone charged credibly with pedophilia and preying on children. When you say, I would rather have a good person. There’s no clear dichotomy of the election in recent history, you have someone who imprisoned Eric Rudolph and imprisoned the people who bombed the 16th street Baptist church versus someone who, you know, thinks that slavery was a good time period for African-Americans and all of us. And someone who Ivanka Trump said is the worst part of America because they prey at children. Rethink your position or have your party rethink their position on whether or not it is policy or what we want the moral fiber of our country to be. That’s a problem for me."
