Higbie on Trump: ‘He’s Instilled Faith in the Veterans, that When They Come Home, They’ll Be Taken Care Of’

HIGBIE: " The biggest thing I can say about what President Trump has done is he has instilled faith in the veterans that when they come home they will be taken care of. AmeriCorps and especially the Department of Labor has rolled out a number of programs prior to Veterans Day. Veterans, they understand that they are possibly going into conflict on behalf of this nation, you know, at the President's behest, and when they come back, they know now that they are going to be taken care of to a much further extent than they ever were before. I think that's a very powerful thing for morale and their ability to fight this war."
