Fox News’ Howard Kurtz: Jake Tapper ‘Has a Point’ in Calling Out Fox News (Mediaite)

Last week CNN’s Jake Tapper unleashed on Fox News for “lying” about comments he made, and Fox News’ Howard Kurtz conceded this morning he had a point.

To recap: the New York City terrorist was heard shouting “Allahu Akbar.” During coverage of the attack, Tapper said, “The Arabic chant ‘Allahu Akbar,’ God is great, sometimes is said under the most beautiful of circumstances. And too often, we hear it being said in moments like this.”

The moment got some pick-up on conservative websites and made its way to Fox News. And after Fox News tweeted a link to a piece on what Tapper said, the CNN anchor went on a tweetstorm calling them out for misrepresenting his remarks. Others in the media agreed with Tapper, even Glenn Beck.
