‘Morning Joe’ Mocks Trump’s Getting out of the Draft: Some Kids Still Run Track with Bone Spurs

‘He played football during the time too that John McCain was being almost beaten to death, wasn’t he?’

EXCERPT:

BRZEZINSKI: "Senator John McCain is further explaining his thoughts about how wrong it was that some avoided military service during the Vietnam War by getting doctors notes for bone spurs. Many saw it as an overt reference to President Trump who received one of his draft deferments for the condition, bone spurs."
SCARBOROUGH: "Yeah. That’s — that hurts."
BRZEZINSKI: "I know some kids — you still have to run track with bone spurs. So they're not a very serious condition."
SCARBOROUGH: "Donald Trump, obviously, let’s go back to that picture of Donald Trump. Obviously, he could carry big balls there. What is that? Is that a basketball?"
BRZEZINSKI: "I’m not sure what’s going on there."
SCARBOROUGH: "What’s going on there?"
BRZEZINSKI: "He’s got bad feet."
SCARBOROUGH: "Is that a volleyball?"
HALPERIN: "Medicine ball."
SCARBOROUGH: "Those are hard to carry around. He played football during the time too that John McCain was being almost beaten to death, wasn’t he?"
BRZEZINSKI: "Yeah."
SCARBOROUGH: "Football, golf, tennis. Amazing what he could do on those bone spurs."
