That was a teachable moment for me and I think millions of other parents who were forced with trying to explain to their children about human decency. Here's what I told my kids, I don't care what your political policy is on immigration or tax reform, I care about how you treat one another. And above all, human decency supersedes any political policy. And I showed my kids that videotape because I wanted them to know how not to treat other people."
