Former Head Of CIA’s Bin Laden Unit: ‘Obama Admin. Has No Clue What It’s Doing’ On ISIS (Independent Journal Review)

The former head of the CIA’s Bin Laden unit, Michael Scheuer, appeared on Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs Tonight and he was asked his reaction to recent statements by the Obama administration on the Islamic State or ISIS or ISIL.

Scheuer had some characteristically harsh words for the Obama administration, and for the U.S. foreign policy establishment in general.

Scheuer accused the U.S. government of being unwilling to do what it takes to defeat ISIS and other jihadist organizations. He also ripped more than just the Obama administration for its response to Islamic terrorism. The former CIA analyst criticized the Bush 43 and Clinton administrations as well for letting the problem grow.

Scheuer concluded the interview with a chilling prediction about the fate of Afghanistan once American combat troops withdraw from that country after more than a decade of fighting. Approximately three-quarters of all U.S. troop casualties in Afghanistan have come under President Obama.
