O’Reilly Follows Up on ‘White Privilege’ Debate: Is There Asian Privilege Too? (Mediaite)

Yesterday Bill O’Reilly sparred with Megyn Kelly over the idea of “white privilege.” And today, O’Reilly followed up by arguing it’s a ridiculous notion because the problems with the black community are the real issue here.

As he did yesterday, O’Reilly invoked the success of Asian-Americans in this country, citing how they earn more money and have “stable homes and an emphasis on education.” He asked, somewhat sarcastically, “Do we have Asian privilege in America?”

O’Reilly said there isn’t that kind of emphasis on education and the family unit in the black community. He brought up things like talking and acting respectfully, and said, “If African-American children do not know those things, they will likely fail as adults.”

He also charged that black leaders are pushing a “big lie” that white privilege and an unfair American system are to blame for all of their black community’s troubles.
