Gordon Chang: Trump Has a Lot of Work To Do But He’s Moving in the Right Direction on North Korea

‘The Chinese have said that they ordered the banks to stop some — not all, but some of their financial relations and economic relations with North Korea’

RUSH EXCERPT:
CHANG: "Certainly. The Chinese have said that they ordered the banks to stop some — not all, but some of their financial relations and economic relations with North Korea. That was certainly a positive. And I think that was the result with President Trump on June 29th severing a small Chinese bank from the global financial system. That was an important step forward. Also, we have President Trump on his September 21 executive order, which is a major step forward. It’s, I think, one of the most important things that any American leader has done on North Korea. So this is significant, and I think that President Trump has got a lot of work to do. But nonetheless, he’s moving in the right direction on that."
