FITTON: "I don’t blame the Democrats for taking advantage of the opportunity to lead the investigation to the Senate Republicans that’s going on here and the leadership of burr, and the majority leader McConnell need to take responsibility for an investigation that is essentially targeting Trump in a political way. There’s no legitimate public interest at this point given all of the information that we know is out there and not out there, and frankly I have to wonder whether they’re Republicans on both sides of the Hill, both on the House and the Senate that are happy having investigations go on because they don’t want Trump to be president, they are happy to see him impeached or forced to step down so you just keep the information, you just keep the operations open so that you can hopefully find something that causes the president irreparable damage."
