Brian Kilmeade Dings President Trump’s NFL Remarks: ‘Made Everything Worse’ (Mediaite) 

The rhetorical battle between President Donald Trump and the NFLheated up this weekend which forced the political pundits of the world to take sides.

On one hand you have Trump, who during a campaign rally in Alabama last week referred to those in the NFL who are protesting racism by kneeling during the national anthem, and on the other you have the enormously powerful institution of  the NFL — who have been mostly unified from owners, players and coaches alike–in the face of Trump’s continued rhetorical assault.

Not surprisingly, this conflict has been a major topic of conversation on the cable news programs this morning, and has been pretty much the non-stop on the very pro-Trump Fox & Friends. What IS surprising is co-host Brian Kilmeade‘s rather brave moment of candor in which he said “yesterday I thought the president overall his remarks Friday and his tweet Saturday made everything worse.”
