Anthony Ruggiero: N. Korea Wants to ‘Decouple’ the U.S. from S. Korea and Japan

RUGGIERO: "North Korea is continuing its goal of getting a missile they can launch against Guam. Earlier this year, they launched the icbms which are direct and at the United States. What North Korea wants is they don’t want to engage in a suicidal nuclear attack against the United States. They want to decouple the United States from South Korea and Japan, our close allies, so that North Korea can intimidate them and eventually reunify the Korean peninsula under its own rule."
