Newt Gingrich Sounds The Alarm: Trump ‘Floundering’ Tax Cuts No Sure Bet (Mediaite)

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich took the stage at Fox & Friends on Tuesday to sound the alarm, warning that Trump was “foundering” (but, like, in a good way) and that tax cuts were essential, but there was a risk it would never get off the ground.

“I think [Trump] is sincerely wresting with how do you make American great again. I think he was very frustrated coming out of the Summer with the inability to get things done on a partisan basis. And I think there is a little bit of floundering here that may be creative and healthy.”

Healthy floundering is a nifty way to put it — But Newt does have a PhD, so I guess we’ll go with it.
