Kris Kobach: DACA Is Illegal and It Should End Now

KOBACH: "DACA violates the United States Constitution in two different ways. It also violates three different federal statutes. And it's not just my opinion. You had lower federal courts already say that. It is illegal and should end now. We shouldn’t say, 'Well, we recognize it is illegal and we recognize it is violating our Constitution, but let’s just keep on violating our Constitution for six months or however long.' We need to end it and we need to start looking after United States citizens first. It is a really tough job market right now for U.S. citizens out there. Young people who are coming out of high school right now, unemployment is 17 percent. Underemployment, where they are working part-time where they would like to be working full-time, is 31 percent. For young college graduates it's 12 percent underemployment."
