Hayes: State Dept. Did Everything They Could to Hide Clinton-Benghazi Emails

‘That seems to be an obvious place for State to search if State had been interested in actually finding records responsive to these [Freedom of Information Act] requests’

EXCERPT:

HAYES: "But of course we know, those of us who covered Benghazi and looked at the State Department at the time, know the State Department was not only not interested in providing these and complying with these FOIA results, they did everything they could to hide these records playing with Hillary Clinton, toying with congressional investigators who wanted this, being unresponsive to FOIA folks, deliberately trying to hide e-mails that they had through classification games, through non-responsiveness. So it’s not any surprise at all that the State Department bureaucracy wasn’t actually operating in good faith in responding to these FOIA requests."
