Eddie Glaude: Trump’s Playing ‘Fast and Loose’ with Millions of People’s Health Care

GLAUDE: "I don’t think Trump really has a serious commitment around health care in any serious -- in any significant sense. Look, he's playing fast and loose with 1/6 of the economy. The second thing, he's playing fast and loose with millions of people’s health care, people who could lose their livelihoods, right? Third, I don’t understand the animated principal behind all of this anyway. (Laughter) And what I mean by that is this: This is a heritage bill; RomneyCare. It came out of the Heritage Foundation. ACA was based upon it. Obama took a Republican idea and made it his own. I don’t understand what the animating principal is, beside the fact that it is a health care legislation with Obama’s name on it. Let's leave that alone and just let understand that this is the American health care system."
