Cheri Bustos: ‘I Don’t Agree’ that Dems Have Become the ‘Party of the Elites’

‘There are so many distractions here in Washington’

EXCERPT:

BUSTOS: "I happen to represent the entire central and northwestern portion of the State of Illinois. Donald Trump won my congressional district. There's not too many Democrats who serve in the U.S. House of Representatives who say that, there is only 12, so he won my district but I won by 20 points. I bring that up because I have focused non-stop on jobs, the economy. So to your characterization that the Democrats have become the party of the elite, I don’t agree with that. But I think we need to hearken back to the days where people understand that Democrats are the party that fight for hard-working men and women."
