BLUMENTHAL: “— but it will be privately, and it will not be under oath. So I think subpoenas are going to be necessary for Trump Jr. and for Paul Manafort to appear, and the other witnesses who were at that early June 2016 meeting and possibly subsequent meetings, and I will support Chairman Grasley and ranking member Feinstein in issuing those subpoenas not only for the witnesses but also for documents which are tremendously important and we really need to see.”
