Guy Benson: ‘No Two Ways About It’ Health Care Failure Is a ‘Debacle’ for the GOP

‘It is a debacle for the Republicans’

EXCERPT:
BENSON: "It is a debacle for the Republicans. There's no two ways about it because they said for seven years, ;elect us and we will get rid of this law.' And here we are. The House did its job, imperfectly, and sent it to the Senate. The Senate spend weeks behind closed doors meetings, and they eventually could not come up with a bill that could pass with 52 votes, plus tie breaking vote from the president. And so  now what? We are back to plan B, which apparently is to pass the House bill with an amendment which would just repeal almost all of ObamaCare, similar to the bill they passed and 2015, knowing that there was a back stop of a veto. The CBO score of that repeal bill is a disaster, so I fail to see how a bunch of the moderates in particular, who are very worried about Medicaid, and coverage numbers, and all of that from the Senate bill, how are they going to vote, even though they did already except for Susan Collins two years ago, how will they vote for bill that repeals almost everything and leaves nothing with two years to fill in the gaps. There will be a countdown clock for two years to what the media will call, catastrophe, and the idea that this group under pressure will come with something better? Um, call me skeptical, but we have just seen what they have done."
