Bernie Goldberg: Running Against Left Wing Academia Might Work for GOP in 2020

‘If running against the media worked for Donald Trump in 2016, why wouldn’t running against left-wing academia work for Republicans in 2020?’

EXCERPT:

GOLDBERG: "The point is that in 2016 Donald Trump ran and won the election, at least in part by using the media as a stand-in, as a punching bag. Republicans and independents who lean in that direction do not like and do not trust the so-called mainstream media. But there’s a another liberal institution that they don’t like and that’s academia, colleges and universities. They don’t like radical professors. They don’t like race hustlers who want graduation ceremony separate from — only black kids to take part in a certain graduation. They certainly don’t like pampered left-wing students who shout down conservatives they don’t like. So, if running against the media worked for Donald Trump in 2016, why wouldn’t running against left-wing academia work for Republicans in 2020? I think it might."
