It’s clear that this meeting was an attempt to deal with the sanctions that were imposed by the United States against Russia under the Magnitsky Law. The lawyer that Mr. Trump met with was the lawyer who tried to discredit Mr. Magnitsky, putting resources into misinformation and lies about Mr. Magnitsky and how he was arrested, tortured and killed by the Russians.”
