Hannity to Newt Gingrich: ‘We’ve Almost Been a Sole Voice’ of ‘Sanity in the Media’ (Mediaite)

On Monday night, Sean Hannity gave himself and Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich a pat on the back for how they’ve been covering the numerous investigations and scandals.

“You know, Mr. Speaker,” he began, “I kinda feel in many ways we’ve been––and you’ve been included in this and you’ve been an enormous help with great analysis––we’ve almost been a sole voice here of sanity in the media.”

He then listed how they’ve talked about evidence that proves Hillary Clinton broke the law, the inappropriate tarmac meeting between Bill Clinton and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and the potential conflicts of interest between Special Counsel Robert Mueller and former FBI Director James Comey.

Gingrich said that he hopes the new FBI director should look at all the evidence and follow it where it leads and believes President Obama should testify before Congress to tell America what he knew about Russia’s meddling in the U.S. election and his reasoning for not taking action.
