Kristol: ‘We’re Unlikely To See a Vote’ on Health Care Next Week

‘There’s zero percent that McConnell will let it go’

EXCERPT:

KRISTOL: "No. There’s zero chance in my view that Mitch McConnell will let this bill go at 11:00 A.M. not knowing that at noon four Republican senators are going to stay. We're not quite there. I mean, McConnell know. These guys are loyal. These guys will give McConnell a heads-up. So I think he lets it go, and then he gets to go on Tuesday to Trump and to his own caucus and say, 'You know what? We don't have the votes. I'm not going to put you guys through a horrible series of votes on Democratic amendments where you’re going to look mean to every possible group.'"
SCARBOROUGH: "But he had to do it."
KRISTOL: "But he had to do it. What do I know? But I think we’re unlikely to see a vote on this next week."
