Hume: Feinstein Was Having Lunch with the Russian Amb. a Few Years Ago in the Senate Dining Room

‘It’s normal for senators and many other officials in Washington to talk with the Russian ambassador’

EXCERPT:

HUME: "My own guess is that those discussions with the Russian ambassador don’t amount to much. The Russian ambassador, as you probably heard me say, is very much a man about town. He meets with all kinds of officials. In fact, the last time I was in the Senate dining room a few years ago, I was having lunch with a member over there one day and the place was darn near empty except for senator Feinstein of California who was having lunch with the Russian ambassador and we spoke briefly and everybody said hello and I never thought another thing about it because it’s normal for senators and many other officials in Washington to talk with the Russian ambassador."
