OBAMA: “When trust in our institutions is low, we should reduce the corrosive influence of money in our politics. We should insist on the principles of transparency and ethics and public service. There is no doubt in America there’s too much money in politics and there’s too much entrenched partisanship. And the most important cure for that is more participation by citizens.”
