KAINE: "Alisyn, that letter troubles me. I’m not part of the letter. And that has not been my experience thus far in dealing with the administration. Then again, I’m not on either of the committees that are doing that Russia investigation, Intel and Judiciary. I am on two committees that are -- that are sort of using the information, Armed Services and Foreign Relations. Because we have to make important decisions about strategy and budget taking into account what the chief nation state adversary Russia is doing. So, I’m sort of a consumer of the intel, but not on the investigative committees. I was not part of that letter. But of course I’m troubled if my colleagues feel like they are not getting their questions answered."
