Sen. Murphy: ‘Michael Flynn Can’t Hide for Very Long’

MURPHY: "Well, I think that senator burr and senator Warner are taking the right steps. They are going to give him another opportunity to do right but this committee and turn over these documents, but they have made it very clear that if he doesn't take this second opportunity, then there's a contempt charge at the end of this. I mean, Michael Flynn can't hide for very long. Ultimately he likely has legal liability for his failure to disclose the connections to the Russian and the Turkish government and if he doesn't tell this story then he likely faces a lot of jail time, and this is the big problem for President Trump is that he has got some people very close to him that may have been those that were talking to the Russians during the campaign who face pretty serious legal jeopardy, and they may start talking very soon."
