Acting FBI Director: We Are ‘Adequately Resourced’ for Russia Investigation

‘For the Russia investigation, ma’am, I think we are adequately resourced’

Acting FBI Director: We Are ‘Adequately Resourced’ for Russia Investigation (The Washington Free Beacon)

Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe told the Senate Select Intelligence Committee on Thursday that the FBI is "adequately resourced" for its investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) asked McCabe if the FBI has what it needs to conduct its investigation, in light of former FBI Director James Comey's termination. Several media outlets have reported that Comey had asked Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein for more resources, including personnel, to investigate Russian influence on the 2016 election.

"It's been widely resourced–reported, and you've mentioned this, that Director Comey asked Rosenstein for additional resources, and I understand that you're saying that you don't believe that you need any additional resources?" Harris asked.
