Hume: Flynn Is ‘Long Gone’ So It’s ‘Unclear’ How Much ‘Political Mileage’ One Will Get out of Him

‘How much political mileage anybody will be able to get out of what Flynn did or did not do is unclear to me’

EXCERPT:

HUME: "Yeah, the White House is calling it, as you said Shannon, a heads-up. Others are calling it, you know, more of a dire warning. If this comes down to the difference between a heads-up and a dire warning it won’t amount to much. On the other hand if what Sally Yates lays out about Flynn is very, very serious. And the White House then didn’t really do anything about it, until Flynn misled the vice president about the nature of his conversations, that would certainly be an embarrassment of the White House. But in the -- in the end, you have to be faced with this fact; Flynn is gone and indeed long gone. So, you know, how much political mileage anybody will be get out -- be able to get out of what Flynn did or did not do is unclear to me."
