MARKEY: "We are going to block this radical right wing attempt to kill ObamaCare because what they are really trying to do is to fulfill their promise to their wealthiest contributors, to have all of this money ultimately be taken away from people who need it, the poor, the middle class, senior citizens — people who are in nursing homes, poor children, and then transferring it as a tax break to the wealthiest 1 percent. You just had a jobs report. You just had a big discussion about how the wealthy are getting wealthier in our country and how the stock market is booming. Those are the wealthy people. They don’t need a tax break right now. At the expense of the poorest people, the seniors in our country? That’s immoral. It’s just wrong."
