Deutsch: Obama Looks Like He Wants to Go Home (Washington Free Beacon)

Liberal Morning Joe guest Donny Deutsch commented Monday that President Obama looked disengaged during his interview with Mika Brzezinski about, among other things, the crisis in Iraq.

“I’ve never seen a less engaged look in his eyes,” he said. “His cadence was different. He feels like he almost wants to go home at this point.”

“He does seem tired,” Brzezinski said, before defending him from critics of his Middle East policy. Obama sat down with reporters from CNN and CBS in interviews airing Monday as well to discuss a wide range of topics, but Iraq was the main focus.

Obama recently was polled at just 37 percent approval of his foreign policy, with an all-time high of 57 percent disapproval.
