Biography
Brian Morgenstern is a lawyer, pundit, and political strategist based in New York City.
Brian has been featured as a commentator on Fox News, Fox Business Network, CNN, Huffington Post Live, the BBC, MTV, The Blaze, SiriusXM and CBS Radio, among many other outlets. He was a 2014 National Review Institute Regional Fellow.
Before coming to New York, Brian worked for Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen, the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources, and the National Republican Senatorial Committee in Washington, D.C. He has also assisted on the campaigns of Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Senator John McCain, Governor Chris Christie, as well as many other candidates for federal, state, and local office. Brian is a Vice President of the Manhattan Republican Party and is the former President of the New York Young Republican Club.
He is an attorney with the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher as part of American Lawyer Magazine’s two-time national “Litigation Department of the Year.” He represents corporate and individual clients in civil and criminal litigation and investigations.
When he has time, Brian enjoys performing standup and improv comedy in New York. He frequently appears in the political comedy show “Electoral Dysfunction” at The PIT. He produces the shows “Objectionable Humor” at Gotham Comedy Club and “Bad Karma” at Karma Lounge. He has appeared in the Laughing Devil and Devil Cup Comedy Festivals, and in the New York City Improv Festival. As an intern for the show, he appeared in a skit and wrote another for the Late Show with David Letterman.
Brian graduated from Georgetown University where he was student body president and from Columbia Law School. He grew up in Sparta, NJ. He studies improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Advanced Study program and voiceover at Marla Kirban Voiceover.
