Biography

Adam Jentleson is the Senior Strategic Adviser and Rapid Response Director for the Center for American Progress Action Fund War Room, where he oversees a team of communications and research staff dedicated to holding the Trump administration accountable and injecting progressive ideas into the public debate.<br> Prior to joining American Progress, Jentleson served as deputy chief of staff to then-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). In this role, he was a top adviser to Reid on political, legislative, and communications strategy and led one of the largest and most diverse communications teams on Capitol Hill. Before that, Jentleson spent years working at the intersection of policy, politics, and communications on several campaigns and did two prior stints at the American Progress.<br> Jentleson was named one of BuzzFeed’s “24 People Who Will Be Running Washington Next Year: Communications-Obsessed Operatives for the Twitter Age.” Jentleson has been cited in most major news outlets, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, NBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, the Associated Press, Reuters, The Atlantic, Vanity Fair, GQ, The Wall Street Journal, and the Los Angeles Times, and his writing has appeared in The Washington Post and ThinkProgress.<br> Jentleson is a 2003 graduate of Columbia University, a proud product of Montgomery County Public Schools, including Montgomery Blair High School, and is proud to have co-coached American Progress’ softball team to a championship victory over the Heritage Foundation.<br> <br> — americanprogress.org
