Biography
Kerri is the morning host and anchor of KSTU’s award-winning news program “Good Day Utah” and “Live at 11.”
She got her start in television at KCBD in Lubbock, Texas.
During her job interview she was asked to write a story for the 10 o’clock news and return the next day if they used it on the air. The rest is history!
Her reporting skills landed her a job at FOX. She has been fortunate to cover such stories as the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and travel to Africa with a Utah medical team helping children in Ghana.
She says the trip was life changing and she hopes to take her children back to West Africa one day.
Kerri enjoys road biking, watching football (she’s a Packers fan) and traveling. She successfully climbed Kilimanjaro in 2009 and unless you blink, you might spot her in a Disney movie!
She and her husband have two boys and love Utah and all it has to offer with the outdoors.
Despite the love/hate relationship with her alarm clock, she’s thrilled to be a part of the Good Day Utah Team. “I have a great job. I get to laugh every day.”
Kerri joined the Fox news team in 1994 and recently received a Milestone Award for her 20 years of dedicated service to KSTU.
