Biography

Nicholas (Reaper 33™) Irving began his career in the Army immediately after graduating high school under the Option 40 contract (US Army 75th Ranger Regiment). After successfully completing US Army basic training, Army Airborne School (honor graduate), the Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP), he was assigned to 3rd Ranger Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment in 2005. <br> <br> Through his career assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment, Irving served as an assaulter, light/heavy machine gunner, machine gun team leader, and designated marksman on multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan before attending the US Army Ranger School in 2007. Upon graduating US Army Ranger School, Irving applied, attended, and was chosen to join the ranks within 3rd Ranger Battalions HHC sniper section. <br> <br> Shortly after completing sniper selection, he completed various precision sniper courses and schools. Some of these include, US Army Sniper School, Extreme Long Range Precision Course (Private), High Angle Precision Rifle (Private), Urban Sniper Course (Private), etc. During his 7 month train-up in Ft. Benning GA, Sgt. Irving spent a total of 5 1/2 months conducting training before deploying back to Afghanistan. <br> <br> In 2009, Sgt. Irving deployed to the southern region of Afghanistan. While on a 3 1/2 month deployment, Nicholas conducted over 100 special operations missions as a sniper team leader, mainly in the Helmand Provence. A Taliban safe-haven. The operations Irving and his spotter “P” conducted in the southern Afghanistan region, resulted in the success of eliminating “key” Taliban personnel. During the course of his 3 1/2 deployment, Nicholas Irving tallied 33 EKIA (probable EKIA unknown). <br> <br> After his service within the 75th Ranger Regiment, Nicholas went onto serve as a military contractor deployed to the middle east.
