Jackie Kucinich joined The Daily Beast as the senior politics editor in January 2015. Prior to The Daily Beast, she worked at The Washington Post where she covered politics and produced political video for PostTV. During the 2012 election cycle, she worked at USA Today where she covered the Republican primary and Mitt Romney.

From December 2008 until March 2011, she reported for Roll Call on Senate leadership, House Republicans, politics and a range of other issues on Capitol Hill. She covered Congress for The Hill newspaper from February 2005 to November 2008.

Jackie has been a guest on MSNBC, CNN, FOX News, HBO, C-Span, as well as local television and several local and national radio stations. Her byline has also appeared in Capitol File magazine, the Washington City Paper, CQ Politics and Washingtonian magazine. Prior to coming to Capitol Hill, Jackie covered local politics in Maryland for the Prince George’s Sentinel. A native of Columbus, Ohio, Jackie received her B.A. in Communication in Print Journalism from American University.
