RUSH TRANSCRIPT Any binds ░░░░░░░░ American corporations receive failing ░░░░░░░░ when it comes to ░░░░░░░░ freedom and free speech ░░░░░░░░ defending freedom reviewed the ░░░░░░░░ of seventy five major ░░░░░░░░ corporations and found disregard ░░░░░░░░ religious freedom and free ░░░░░░░░ and virtually all seventy ░░░░░░░░ Meanwhile only Eight companies ░░░░░░░░ their score from last ░░░░░░░░ Study examined three aspects ░░░░░░░░ include policies toward the ░░░░░░░░ policies toward employees and ░░░░░░░░ spending and joining us ░░░░░░░░ is Jeremy Tedesco senior ░░░░░░░░ president for corporate engagement ░░░░░░░░ Alliance Defending Freedom Jeremy ░░░░░░░░ to have you with ░░░░░░░░ Let s talk talk ░░░░░░░░ little bit more about ░░░░░░░░ study and what stood ░░░░░░░░ the most to you ░░░░░░░░ viewpoint diversity score business ░░░░░░░░ is the first comprehensive ░░░░░░░░ of measure of corporate ░░░░░░░░ for free speech and ░░░░░░░░ freedoms We put it ░░░░░░░░ for the first time ░░░░░░░░ year This is our ░░░░░░░░ edition I think what ░░░░░░░░ out as what you ░░░░░░░░ movies that only the ░░░░░░░░ improve their scores I ░░░░░░░░ think it s really ░░░░░░░░ that we had eat ░░░░░░░░ grew up year over ░░░░░░░░ and their scores One ░░░░░░░░ those companies went up ░░░░░░░░ over 30 two points ░░░░░░░░ in in the key ░░░░░░░░ these companies increasing their ░░░░░░░░ and our index at ░░░░░░░░ that the initial stages ░░░░░░░░ to fill up the ░░░░░░░░ We send each one ░░░░░░░░ these companies each year ░░░░░░░░ companies we score in ░░░░░░░░ disclose information about their ░░░░░░░░ of branches of those ░░░░░░░░ that impact free speech ░░░░░░░░ religious freedom and that ░░░░░░░░ where the two companies ░░░░░░░░ the highest score this ░░░░░░░░ received those high scores ░░░░░░░░ they were transparent and ░░░░░░░░ the information that got ░░░░░░░░ higher scores and the ░░░░░░░░ Yes bigoted as company ░░░░░░░░ that improve their scores ░░░░░░░░ you tell us maybe ░░░░░░░░ little bit about that ░░░░░░░░ mean I don t ░░░░░░░░ you can tell us ░░░░░░░░ they are but what ░░░░░░░░ the improvements that they ░░░░░░░░ one Did they do ░░░░░░░░ Yeah the two companies ░░░░░░░░ improve their scores the ░░░░░░░░ were fidelity information services ░░░░░░░░ is a payment processor ░░░░░░░░ empty bag which everybody ░░░░░░░░ much knows who empty ░░░░░░░░ In both instances their ░░░░░░░░ went up immediately when ░░░░░░░░ feel that our survey ░░░░░░░░ with fidelity information services ░░░░░░░░ identified several policies that ░░░░░░░░ just couldn t find ░░░░░░░░ that were favorable to ░░░░░░░░ speech inter religious freedom ░░░░░░░░ so they were able ░░░░░░░░ confirm that certain practices ░░░░░░░░ the species they treat ░░░░░░░░ workforce we re far ░░░░░░░░ than we could discern ░░░░░░░░ from looking at what ░░░░░░░░ available to us through ░░░░░░░░ website and other public ░░░░░░░░ So but the flip ░░░░░░░░ of this is there ░░░░░░░░ still an enormous problem ░░░░░░░░ corporate America when it ░░░░░░░░ to respect for free ░░░░░░░░ and religious freedom When ░░░░░░░░ had some good improvements ░░░░░░░░ had most of the ░░░░░░░░ were down you re ░░░░░░░░ 15 percent on the ░░░░░░░░ and so there s ░░░░░░░░ long way to go ░░░░░░░░ this is a long ░░░░░░░░ process and we re ░░░░░░░░ re dedicated to incremental ░░░░░░░░ over time Here and ░░░░░░░░ you give us some ░░░░░░░░ of companies that do ░░░░░░░░ well examples of what ░░░░░░░░ re not doing right ░░░░░░░░ we re the biggest ░░░░░░░░ These corporations is that ░░░░░░░░ have vague policies that ░░░░░░░░ them unbounded discretion to ░░░░░░░░ bank or platform people ░░░░░░░░ cancel their services in ░░░░░░░░ essentially they can They ░░░░░░░░ be platform people because ░░░░░░░░ their views religious or ░░░░░░░░ views in the worst ░░░░░░░░ about it is they ░░░░░░░░ do it without having ░░░░░░░░ own it because the ░░░░░░░░ are so broad so ░░░░░░░░ that they never have ░░░░░░░░ admit that it was ░░░░░░░░ viewpoint based reason to ░░░░░░░░ problem That s happening ░░░░░░░░ now that we re ░░░░░░░░ concerned about is that ░░░░░░░░ are really starting to ░░░░░░░░ weaponized Just like social ░░░░░░░░ companies have been over ░░░░░░░░ last four or five ░░░░░░░░ Everybody knows the social ░░░░░░░░ Companies are censoring content ░░░░░░░░ in many instances that ░░░░░░░░ is aimed at religiously ░░░░░░░░ people Will banks have ░░░░░░░░ exact same very similar ░░░░░░░░ of policies as social ░░░░░░░░ companies They policies that ░░░░░░░░ in the heat or ░░░░░░░░ intolerance or into reputational ░░░░░░░░ in banks are starting ░░░░░░░░ use those policy he ░░░░░░░░ due to to the ░░░░░░░░ people in JP Morgan ░░░░░░░░ is the perfect example ░░░░░░░░ this there s about ░░░░░░░░ instances in the last ░░░░░░░░ years where it looks ░░░░░░░░ they be banked major ░░░░░░░░ organizations in some small ░░░░░░░░ too because of their ░░░░░░░░ beliefs because there s ░░░░░░░░ other reason that adds ░░░░░░░░ to why those company ░░░░░░░░ no longer have bank ░░░░░░░░ at chase Tell me ░░░░░░░░ you hope comes from ░░░░░░░░ study Well what we ░░░░░░░░ to do is inspired ░░░░░░░░ in corporate America so ░░░░░░░░ our goal is to ░░░░░░░░ constructed partners with them ░░░░░░░░ isn t a name ░░░░░░░░ shame campaign This is ░░░░░░░░ campaign to help them ░░░░░░░░ where they re falling ░░░░░░░░ the line and then ░░░░░░░░ we source them with ░░░░░░░░ of 15 model policies ░░░░░░░░ and guidelines We will ░░░░░░░░ directly with the companies ░░░░░░░░ have in some instances ░░░░░░░░ identify problems and gaps ░░░░░░░░ to make recommendations about ░░░░░░░░ they can close those ░░░░░░░░ in the end What ░░░░░░░░ want is a business ░░░░░░░░ that s respectful of ░░░░░░░░ speech and religious freedom ░░░░░░░░ it takes seriously their ░░░░░░░░ culture seat shaping institutions ░░░░░░░░ get back and a ░░░░░░░░ to the community in ░░░░░░░░ way that builds up ░░░░░░░░ culture of free speech ░░░░░░░░ religious freedom for everyone ░░░░░░░░ thank you so much ░░░░░░░░ taking the time to ░░░░░░░░ with us today about ░░░░░░░░ three appreciate appalachia They ░░░░░░░░ I m a Catholic ░░░░░░░░ of America has
