Clinton Dodges on Whether She Supports Single Payer Health Care

‘I agree with universal health care’

CLINTON: "So the voters have been led to believe that before they go make their decision, they'll be able to compare what I want to do to get to universal care, which is to defend, support and enhance the Affordable Care Act, and what Senator Sanders has said he wants to do, which is to basically start all over again, start a contentious debate, try to get to a single-payer system, but he's not telling us what it will look like and cost."
MADDOW: "Do you disagree with that goal? Do you disagree with single-payer as a good -- or you just think it would be too hard thing to do?"
CLINTON: "No I agree with universal health care."
