Sen. Graham: Benghazi Talking Points Were Altered To Ensure Obama’s Reelection

‘The original talking points were altered to create a story of what happened in Benghazi that supported the President seven weeks before an election’

Graham: Benghazi Talking Points Altered To Assist Obama Reelection (Washington Free Beacon)

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.)  blasted former Deputy CIA Director Michael Morell for editing Benghazi talking points directly in support of President Obama just seven weeks before the 2012 presidential election.

Graham, who serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee, told Fox News’ Martha MacCallum that Morell altered the original Benghazi talking points document. Morell omitted certain words and changed the language of the document to lessen the severity and danger of Benghazi. The revised document failed to mention Al Qaeda and the word “extremist” was not specified as Islamist. A demonstration was mentioned, but witnesses have said that there was no such protest.
