LA Reporter Gets Back at Jimmy Kimmel for Poking Fun at Him (Mediaite)

Jimmy Kimmel, like most late night comics, enjoys the occasional dig at local news, and recently had some fun with a local news reporter who asked random people on the streets of L.A. if they felt an earthquake, which they didn’t. But Doug Kolk didn’t take the mockery lying down and shot back at Kimmel on Wednesday.

He played the “real” sign-off he gave in the initial report, which was, “So nobody felt a thing, much like being an audience member at a Jimmy Kimmel taping.” Oh, burn.

Well, look, at least this local news reporter just ran around asking the same question to crowds of people, he didn’t repeat the same news copy as literally every other reporter on the planet.
