Fahrenthold: Trump’s ‘Done Very Little to Separate Himself’ from Trump Properties

FAHRENTHOLD: "Well, me and my colleagues have figured out that one out of every five days as he’s been president he’s been at a Trump-branded property bringing a lot of people and business and Secret Service agents to those properties and he also has done very little to separate himself financially from those properties, the hotels, golf courses. We were told he’s putting it in a trust. We’ve learned from our work and work of people like 'Republica' that actually he has not separated himself. He can take money out of those businesses at any time and  the money that goes into them comes to him. So if you want to impress President Trump if you're a foreign government, it makes sense to go stay at a Trump property. And the money you’re spending will eventually get back to him. Maybe not eventually, maybe very soon."
