Schumer Calls on Ryan to Replace Nunes as Intel Chair

‘Without further ado, Speaker Ryan should replace Chairman Nunes’

Schumer Calls on Ryan to Replace Nunes as Intel Chair (The Washington Free Beacon)

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.)  on Monday accused House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R., Calif.) of falling to do his job and said that he needed to be replaced.

"Without further ado, Speaker Ryan should replace Chairman Nunes," Schumer said. "If Speaker Ryan wants the House to have a credible investigation, he needs to replace Chairman Nunes."

Schumer argued on the Senate floor that Nunes would rather protect President Donald Trump than objectively do his job of investigating Russia's role in meddling in the 2016 presidential race.
