Canadian Mosque Faces Investigation After Imam Calls For Murder of Jews (Mediaite)

A Jewish group in Canada filed a police complaint against a mosque in Montreal after video surfaced of a Jordanian imam delivering a sermon where he called for the slaying of Jews.

A Thursday report from CBC disclosed that “the sermon took place at the Dar Al-Arqam Mosque in the city’s Saint-Michel neighborhood on Dec. 23, 2016….The imam in the video is Jordanian cleric Sheikh Muhammad bin Musa Al Nasr.”

B’nai Brith Canada filed the police complaint on March 20, 2017, according to its YouTube posting of an excerpt from the sermon (see above). CBC quoted the group’s regional director in Quebec, who decried the imam’s quoting of an Islamic hadith: “This is inciting violence, and this is inciting radicalization.”
