Rep. King: ‘It Looks Like’ There Was Some Sort of Surveillance on Trump, His Team

KING: "I fully support Chairman Nunes it was right for him to go to the president. He should go to the president when this happens and he had no choice but to go to the president and he was clear he said. What happened here is you had legal surveillance probably wiretapping of foreigners talking to foreigners that's allowed under the FISA act but when an American's name is mentioned it should be masked or blacked out. It has nothing to do with Russia, nothing to do with any criminal investigations it's likely small talk but the president-elect of the United States and people close to him and his transition team and informing unmasked and sent throughout the intelligence community and it looks like surveillance. You're hiring a private eye with a meeting here and there and it goes against the law and regulation."
