Jay Inslee: GOP Health Care Bill Not a Replacement, It’s a Displacement

‘There’s always things to fix’

EXCERPT:

INSLEE: "I mean, personally, I met a women, we spoke here in Washington, a small businesswoman, never had insurance before Affordable Care Act, finally got it, struggling small businesswoman, finds a lump in her breast, goes in and gets it check because she had insurance and she is a cancer survivor today. She's basically said, yeah, maybe this is not a perfect bill, but I’d be dead without it. So the fact that this is not a replacement, it’s a displacement. They are displacing 600,000 people in my state -- we're going to speak vocally against it.”
