‘It’s ruining our country. It’s ruining our world ... it’s making us all sick’

Dingy Harry backs off 2008 coal comments, saying "Coal makes us sick" (No More Cocktails)

Dingy Harry is backing off some 2008 comments that he made, saying “coal makes us sick.” Dingy says he could have worded it more eloquently. But he still believes the use of coal is “a problem.”

In a brief interview with POLITICO this week, Dingy was asked if he stood by his remarks from a 2008 Fox Business interview blaming the use of coal and oil for “ruining our world.”

“I probably could have phrased it a little differently,” Reid said with a grin.

Reid added: “I believe that we have to do something to stop all the carbon that’s going into the air as much as we can, and coal has been a problem. If we’re going to use more coal, we have to have better clean coal technology.”
