Judge Nap on Bharara: Being Fired by Trump a ‘Badge of Honor’ Among Dems if You Seek Higher Office

‘It’s the most powerful, most visible federal prosecutor’s job in the country’

EXCERPT:

NAPOLITANO: "It's a job that you hold at the pleasure of the president. And when the president asked him to leave you leave, you work for the president. When the president calls you up on Thursday you don’t refuse to take his call and say 'I’m not allowed to speak with you', and you don't refuse to return the call and then act like you surprised when they ask you to quit on Friday. And then refuse to quit and make them fire you unless you want to run for political office. And refusing to quit and being fired by Donald Trump is some sort of a badge of honor in this town if you’re a Democrat who seeks higher office."
