Former Special Forces Commander: America ‘Less Safe’ After Prisoner Exchange (The Washington Free Beacon)

Former Special Forces commander Michael Waltz of the New America Foundation told Bret Baier on Monday “In my view, and the view of thousands of other soldiers, America is less safe and the world is a more dangerous place than it was 48 hours ago,” before the release of the five Guantanamo Bay detainees exchanged for Army Sgt. Waltz commanded a U.S. Army Special Forces unit in the region of Afghanistan where Bergdahl first went missing.
