Rep. Nadler: ‘Absolutely’ Jeff Sessions Should Resign

‘At worst he’s committed perjury, at best he deliberately misled the Senate

NADLER: "I think at worst — I don’t know. But at worst, he’s committed perjury, at best he deliberately misled the Senate. When he was asked about contacts with the Russians and -- he could have said and if he were being honest he would have said --" [crosstalk]
HAYES: "Yeah --"
NADLER: "-- well, I spoke to them a couple times, it had nothing to do with the campaign. He didn’t say that, he said no. That’s misleading the Senate. He knew what they were looking and he deliberately misled the Senate. And that's why he’s got to resign." 
HAYES: "You think he should resign?" 
NADLER: "Absolutely."
HAYES: "Now, I want this -- this final thing about --"
NADLER: "You cannot have an attorney general of the United States who either lies or deliberately mis -- misleads the Senate."
