Brenda Lawrence: This ‘Russia Thing’ Is ‘Very Disconcerting’ for Americans

LAWRENCE: "This morning I’ve had people say this cannot continue. We have seen issue after issue after issue and it’s not just Russia alone, it is the continuous, the continuous failure of representing this country, protecting it. He -- some of our residents feel under siege with the immigration ban. There are -- all of these issues that continue to come out on this Russia thing is -- is a very disconcerting thing for the people. They don’t understand it. Why are we so consistently showing that we have ties just from this Trump administration with Russia when Russia is supposed to be an enemy of ours? So they are concerned about it, because they don’t know the impact it will have on us. And it’s our job in Congress to make sure that it doesn’t."
