Harold Ford, Jr.: Trump ‘Will Not Stop the Press from Doing Their Job’

‘They will not stop the press doing their job and may not confront the press and lay out facts like they want’

FORD JR.: "I agree with everything Mark just said. Even parts of his bases we saw over the weekend. I think it was Darrell Issa who's now called for the appointment of a special prosecutor to look into some of these matters involving Russia. I think you would be hard-pressed to find any reasonable person that follows politics to suggest that Darrell Issa, somehow is a left leaning liberal or is somehow sympathetic to Democratic calls. To your point, I don’t think there is any doubt. There must be stories and other things they are concerned about but they will not be able to stop the press from doing their job and they may not be able to confront the press and lay out facts like they want and they're certainly not going to be able to stop members of Congress who may look at these facts and say, 'You know what? It warrants a different approach.'"
